A New Place to Move, Explore and Belong
APEX Movement Centre is Sherwood Park’s future recreation destination.
What is Apex?
A New Place to Move, Train and Belong
APEX Movement Centre is being developed as a year-round destination where children, youth, adults and families can build confidence, discover new challenges and connect through movement, adventure and play.
Help Shape APEX
APEX is being developed with the needs of Sherwood Park, Strathcona County and surrounding communities in mind—and your feedback matters.
Our community survey will help us understand:
- Which activities and programs families want most
- The ages and ability levels APEX should serve
- Preferred class times and program formats
- Membership and pricing priorities
- Accessibility and inclusion needs
- What would make APEX most valuable to our community
Your feedback will directly inform the facility, programs and experiences we develop.
Our Mission
At APEX Movement Centre, our mission is to bring people together through movement, adventure, and play—creating an inclusive place where children, adults, and families can grow in confidence, discover their potential, and feel that they belong.
